What is Qi Gong?

What is “Wu Xing”?
Wu Xing 五行 is what is typically – and incorrectly – translated as “Five Elements.” It literally means ‘five movements,’ so we usually translate it ‘five [dynamic] elements’ to account for this. The Wu Xing qi gong set is an easy series of single movements that work to harmonize the five [dynamic] elements inside each of us – Metal (Gold), Water, Wood, Fire, and Earth.
What is “Dao Yin”?
Dao Yin 導引 is a wide practice that incorporates a variety of longevity practices. In this daily practice, we will activate the Jing Luo 經絡, or “meridians” of the body and activate every joint to preserve good flow of qi in the body-mind.
Do you need any experience to join?
Not at all! It is very beginner friendly and easy to follow.
What do I need to participate?
A body, and enough space to move your arms wide out to the side. Ideally, a relaxing place with fresh air, but a room with a window is more than sufficient. And, of course, internet access…
